Water meth injection kits

I'm new to this forum so. can you explain to mee what Water meth injection is?

It injects a mixture of water and methanol, usually 50/50, into the intake to add power. I'm not sure if it adds power strictly by lowering the intake air temp, or if the methanol also acts as a fuel. Someone here that knows more than me can add to this.

Okay, these are Snow's Performance kits, which having seen the Hypermax kit and a few others is the best bang for the buck. Full retail on the stage1 kit is $449.00...well can get them for $ 390.00!! Full retail on the stage II kit is $569.00...we can get these for $500. Of course shipping is extra, but can't be much as the kit weighs very little. Send me a PM if you are interested

Propane injection will give you more power and lower egt's propane injection kit I sell is the powershot 2000 it is a 100hp kit the snow performance water meth kit produces somewhere in the 70hp range. Water meth will lower egt's more than propane. frequently asked question about propane will it harm engine the answer is no it completes the combustion of diesel. I think with a high HP chip and propane it seems to advance the timing to much and rods do not like it much? I am carious to know how water & meth work does it do the same as propane or does it just cool the intake charge?

Propane can damage a engine. I've seen it happen, launch head gasgets to the Moon and back, not to mention snap the powder metal rods like matchsticks. The older rods (2000 and back) are alot more forgiving on using propane than the powermetal rods.

Unless of course you are Gene.....his truck runs so much propane, Gene must have bought stock in Amerigas and buys it by the semi full But yet it holds. Must be all the bubblegum
