9th Anniversary Meeting, Sunday, March 4th
OK, finally, here is the information on the 9th Anniversary Meeting!!
The Meeting will be held at Sunrise Ford, Fontana.

In the past, we had several events that members could participate in, but most members preferred to watch...and few actually participated in. So, this year, we decided to simplify the meeting and just offer lunch and discount services courtesy of Sunrise Ford. Sunrise Ford has been our major sponsor since the beginning and continues to support us!! (A bit of trivia...Sunrise Ford is in the top 20 dealerships nation wide and #1 in fleet sales in California!!)
The day of the Meeting, Sunrise Ford will offer considerable discounts to SoCAPS members in the Service Department, continuing discounts in the Parts Department, and a new 2012 Super Duty Power Stroke for test drives. Lunch will be courtesy of SoCAPS.
Here is an opportunity to meet members in person who you may only know as a screen name!!!
Here is the schedule for the day:
Service and Parts will open for members at 8AM.
Lunch will be pizza and drinks in the Sunrise Ford Conference Room from 11AM to 1PM.
An informal meeting will be held during lunch and we encourage members to stop by and share Power Stroke information and give us some feed back on how SoCAPS is doing.
Sunrise Discount Services
Sunrise Ford is opening their Service Department to meeting attendees for basic services at a discount prices!!
Services will be available on a first come, first served basis.
The services will begin at 8AM. Just drive into the Service Department, identify yourself as a SoCAPS Member and ask for Carlos.
The two services that are scheduled at this time are oil changes and transmission flushes.
An oil change will be $65 (or a little less depending on the year and model of your truck and a little more if want synthetic).
An automatic transmission flush will be $35 plus the cost of parts (fluid, filter, etc.) priced at a SoCAPS discount. Different model/year transmissions take different fluid and parts and are too many to list here. Think about it...when was the last time you changed your trans fluid??
When you arrive, if you'd like a service, you will get a firm price for your truck prior to any work beginning.
If you need some other simple service like fuel filter change, ask Carlos will see if they can do it.
For these services, Sunrise is charging 1/2 the normal labor rate and discounting the parts. Basically, Sunrise is doing this at their cost!!
I don't think you'll find a cheaper price anywhere. Not even Jiffy Lube...yuck!!
And, it's easy...the service will be done while you have lunch and attend the meeting!
Obviously, no major repairs can be done, but, most routine maintenances can be scheduled.

You can contact Jim Cockerham by phone at xt 2120 to check availability, prices, and have the parts ready for pickup the day of the meeting...or, post in the above link and Jim will respond.
You can plan to pickup your parts and have lunch with us that day.
If you don't plan ahead, you can still get parts the day of meeting by identifying yourself as a SoCAPS member at the parts counter.
2012 Super Duty
Bobby will have a new Power Stroke there for test drives.
All I hear is good things about the 6.7 liter engine and here is a chance to see for yourself.
Lunch
Don't need any service or parts...please just stop by for lunch. Lunch will be an informal/casual meeting.
11AM to 1PM in the Sunrise Ford Conference Room. All the pizza you can eat...and, of course, an Anniversary cake for dessert!! Family and friends are welcome!!
Lunch is provided by SoCAPS and we encourage you to join us while your vehicle is being serviced, you're picking up parts, or just stop by to chat with other members and give us some feed back on SoCAPS. We are a unique club specializing in family oriented events for Ford Power Stroke owners in the Southern California area. We are always looking for suggestions on club events, meeting friends, and providing help to the Power Stroke community.
