I have a real *****. First the exhaust cleaning cycle seems to come on when I am turning into my driveway or putting around town. The orange warning light come on for a tenth of a second and if you miss it you create an uncomplete cycle if you stop and miss it. You basically have to be looking at the cluster to catch the warning or you probably will miss it. The book does not say how long the cycle takes. The book does not say how long you have to drive the truck to complete the cycle correctly. Ford should have a light that stays on until the cycle is completed. Does anyone know how long the cycle takes and how fast you should be traveling to have the cycle clean properly. Also being an old desiel jockey I wonder how long you should idle to cool the trubo when towing? Another item that is not in the manuel.
