What auto trans would an '02/'03 F350 with a PSD have?

Whats that compared to a E-4OD?
Improved for towing or about the same?
What about rebuild cost?
I know the E-4OD is a very expensive trans to rebuild.

& are there many up-grades?

They are basically the same thing with some differences. They are both 4 speeds and electronic. If you need a rebuild go to this guy http://jwtt.com/ That is John Wood and he builds one hell of a trans. I have is tow master in my 02 and it shifts excellent, tows extremly well, and operates very smoothly.

I agree with 2005F250 I have Johns street performance trans & Dp tuner AAAAWWWWSSSOOOOMMMEEE!!!!! John knows A HELL OF A LOT about the super dutys!!! He can rebuild both. He replaces the all 4r100 shit pieces with high quality & billet pieces. He has a very impressive setup out there in holtville, and I think it is AWSOME how he will show you what goes wrong with these trannys. Im going to him to get my hpop, turbo, injectors, headstuds, & any other mods I dont have time to do myself. Oh ya, if you have a quad, dirtbike, or buggy , bring it , Glamis is right there.

If it's an '03 with the 6.0L, it's a 5R110 trans, which is a really nice trans.
