    Loss of power

Driving down the road and the engine faded to dead, got pulled over to the side of the road, and the engine will not restart.
In the last two years I have replaced ICP, head gaskets, FICM, EGR cooler, two injectors, Oil cooler, HPOP, and EGR delete after blowing the egr cooler the second time.
I checked for codes and read P2285, P2290 that indicates low fuel pressures. I checked the FICM and it reads 48 volt at all times, the ICP, fuel filters, have fuel to the second filter so I am now wondering if the HPOP went out again. I have read about the o-rings failing or the stand pipe rings going bad. I am not really looking forward to popping the top of the engine again. Hoping that someone can give me a better direction to get my fuel pressure back again.

You might have a better chance to get a response if you post the year and model of your truck and any modifications.

I'm guessing it's a 6.0L based on the forum in which you posted, but the technical guys here might want a little more info.

    EDIT: I see in your profile it's a 2003 F250 XLT...any modifications??
You can add a signature with the truck info and then people don't have to search for the info.......

Those are codes for high pressure oil system. Check for base engine oil flow at oil filter housing. If flow is good get some scan tool data icp pres icp v ipr %.

Okay I will give that a try.

Ans yes I have a 2003 F250 with a 6.0L diesel, All stock except for the EGR delete. I have replaced the EGR cooler (now deleted), oil cooler, ICP, FICM, HPOP, Head gaskets, batteries, alternator all in the last two years. I read a thread about disconnecting the ICP and the computer goes into "factory limp home mode" but that did not work either.

Unplugging the ICP will work if there's a problem with the sensor itself or the pigtail, but it won't work if there's a high pressure oil problem.
