    Smog already!?!?! WTH!

    Since when does a 3 year old truck get smogged!!!! I hate ca's BS!
    08 CC SB 4x4
    HID's, N-FAB prerunner bar 3 HID's
    2.5" Icon lift, 325-65-18 duratracs, Aero 55 gal tank
    Mini-Maxxed, Nothin special.....

    I just completed my smog also. Didn't take much, just a visual and a snap test. The smog tech said that any smoke had to dissipate in 3-5 seconds. I was running a H & S Black Maxx and AFE exhaust. Removed both and returned to stock, passed test, re-installed exhaust and tuner. Guess I'll need to repeat in 2 years.

    yep, I had to smog my 08 last year - total B S
    the smog tech had never smogged a diesel
    it was just a waste of my time and my money
    California smog laws are a total joke, and are only after money.

    Yep, no 4 year grace period on diesels like they have on gassers.

    I'm still waiting for my smog check to be required. Hasn't happened in 5 years. :)
