map sensor

Where is the map sensor on a 2005 6.0 located? I'm getting a code P0069 (MAP-BARAMETRIC PRESSURE CORRELATION) I ASSUME THE MAP SENSOR IS FAILING. ENGINE SEEEMS WEAK WHEN COLD.........OK AFTER OPERATING TEMP REACHED..............DOUGU

Follow the hose coming off of the intake manifold.

You might want to try cleaning that hose before you spring for a sensor.

Those symptoms don't really sound like a MAP sensor problem though...I think that would be constant whether or not the motor is warm.

Thanks, but I think I solved the problem................hose conection at the map sensor seemed very loose.............replaced the hose and used mini screw hose clamps. took the truck for a ride several miles (not sparing the horses one bit) and there were no codes showing when I returned. I'll see how it does on the long run later
