Elite diesel sucks

Hello to all,

Been a while since i posted anything. I'm writing to forewarn everyone about my problems with Elite diesel engineering. I had bought a stage one 58v FICM, set of up-pipes and some other items as well. These two items had a core charge of 870$. When i bought these items i was instructed to call Elite and they would email me a shipping label. So after calling more than a half dozen times and emailing them at least a half dozen over the course of about 3-4 weeks. I got no response. So i then sent them one last final email stating that if i didnt here from them by noon the following day i would take to the internet and the better business bureau to get my justice. For some weird reason they received that email and called right away. THey were very apologetic and directed me to go ahead and ship the parts off for core refund. SO i sent them off. I waited a week after sending them to see if they received the parts. they confirmed that they got them and that they would be contacting me in acouple of days to refund the core charges. They never called. So i emailed the lady i had been dealing with and she said that because of "budget constraints" she could not refund my money that week but i was to be put on the books for payment next week. So i called the following week to get my damn money. While on the phone with her i asked her, " so how much am i getting back in core charges"? She says 200$. I tell her what the hell happened to the other 670$ that is owed to me. She tells me that there is no paperwork for the FICM that was sent back in the same box along with the up=pipes. WTH. Are you kidding me people. You run a fricken business and you treat customers like this. What is wrong with these people. Elite diesel is a joke. I will never use them again. THey are crooks. I tell the lady why is it so hard for me to get my damn money back that is owed to me. She said that someone had stole 10k from them and getting back on track has been a struggle. You mean to tell me that a business of your size cant absorb a 10k hit. Yeah right. I highly suggest that everyone on this forum not use elite diesel. They are a huge joke.

It's always sad to hear about a company that has such poor customer service. :(

With posts like this, I always wonder if this was a one time thing, an anomaly? So I did a little Internet research and discovered that Elite Diesel has several unhappy customers...validating what Brian has posted!!

And, if you go to PowerStrokeNation.com, you will finds posts by unhappy customers of Elite (and Elite is a sponsor there!!).
(And please, I fully realize that there a lots of Elite customers who have had no problems and would recommend the company.)

Like I said, sad to hear...but, thank you for posting. Hopefully, no one else from SoCAPS will get ripped off!!

Wow! Glad I saw this post, a friend of mine is getting ready to make a big purchase with them. I'm going to contact him right away with this news, thanks for the heads up, it just goes to show that screwing people for no reason will catch up to you. I would suggest sending them a final letter of demand stating your next step will be to file in small claims court.
