    fuel upgrade

    Just did the electric fuel system on my 97. It took me a year to get all the parts togeather..(short on $$$) The item that I found on ebay works so slick I just want to share. The good thing is you can use your banjo lines and bolt and don't have to remove the turbo. I used super duty pump, racor filter, regulator from summit.. They call it a banjoe block..Thanks sarge

    That's a cool little block for people that want to go that route. But what supports the block? Seems like you would not want the block just suspended by the hard line.

    I got a little carried away with my set up...

    The hard lines have a natural downward bend that holds the banjoe block solid in the valley no problems so far.. I sure like your fuel connection.. Thanks sarge

    It took me about 6 hours .. It's working fine and if you shop you can save lot's a bucks. I see a regulator on ebay 0-140 lbs for $43.99 with liquid gage .. Thanks sarge

    I have most of the stuff to do it. Just need to pick up a pump from a local parts store. I have the rest. What write up did you use?

    Banjoe Block Ford OBS powerstroke diesel fuel upgrade

    I got most of my info from Google (fuel upgrade obs 94,95,96,97) and shop ebay sd pumps show there once in a while.. Thanks sarge

    Any more pics? especially of the pump and filter mount? BTW clean install. I can't wait till pull the trigger. Just found a pump for $77.00 BRAND NEW

    10.jpg2.jpg5.jpg6.jpg7.jpg8.jpg Hope these help, the blue cap over the filter is a small propane tank just to keep the rocks from hitting it . The filter before the fuel pump is a 10 micron. As you notice I have a super duty filter in the valley. All works good for me. Thanks, sarge
