    aftermarket intake system

Im looking at upgrading and starting with an intake. I dont know what is the best one by any means. I am planning to go with a sparko inter cooler after that and then maybe an intake elbow. once i have that done will come the head studs and egr cooler delete along with a new oil cooler. can anyone send me some advice in the direction i should start in and some suggestions on what would work better than others.

    thank you in advance

    Cool

I (and a lot of other people) believe the best intake filter is the stock one!!
Ford got it right on this one...don't bother with an aftermarket intake, you will be wasting your money!!

A lot of the aftermarket stuff is marketed to fix problems that don't exist...the 6.0L intake is one of those!! :)

i agree... i would just stick with the stock one... but... if you absolutely just wanted a new intake i recommend the S&B or AFE intake

Thanks Raul. The main reason i want to change it is for the ease of maint. i have only changed one of the stock ford filters and it was the biggest pain in the butt. I will take a look at the S&B and the AFE.
Is there a direction that i should look for the many other parts im looking for?

If you've already changed the original, it might well be 75-100k miles before it needs it again. The fact that you already did it is a big point in favor of keeping the original.
