    Axle wrap

I'm having axle wrap issues. Stock 07 Fx4. I bought a 40ft toyhauler not long ago. Now seems like anywhere I go i'm dealing with this. What to do. No help here in Tucson.

I'm just guessing, but I'd think with a 40' Toyhauler hitched to an F250, you may be overloaded.

My suggestion would be to put heavier springs in the rear. Heavier/more leaves in the spring pack would tend to stabilize the axle.

Deaver Spring in Santa Ana (used to be a sponsor) is pretty knowledgeable on springs and could help you. I realize it's a distance away...I'd start with a phone call and see what they suggest. They were super to deal with when they were a sponsor!!

how about some traction bars? I like the PMF traction bars that are integrated with the blocks.. makes for a solid setup

Raul is correct, traction bars will work, but they won't, in my opinion, address the basic problem of being overloaded.
A heavier spring pack will address both the axle wrap and the overload...I think more bang for the buck with new springs.
But, I'm not an expert in this area and would seek the advice of Deaver...they will give you a practical and honest answer and possibly a cost estimate for either way you decide to go.

A set of air bags and "floating" traction bars like Rise or One Up Offroad. I had the same issue with my last truck and a 33' 5th wheel toy box behind my F250.

Yes, my last truck was an '06 Superduty, liked it, just too much money to own, SMOG, register, build, and maintain.

Towing Queen for: '09 Attitude 33AKSG Fithwheel Toyhauler, FX package, all options and then some, axle oversprung conversion for 5" lift, 15K GVWR

I had the same issue with my 2011 but it was a shudder at take off, it turns out it was a driveline angle issue due to the weight and spring compression. I installed a set of Firestone Air Bags to correctly level the truck and the problem went away, in addition the handling was greatly improved.

If your problem is purely axle wrap, traction bars will work....
