Long story short, I've already been through the failed cooling system once under warranty... I did buy the ESP extended but would much rather not take any chances. I am looking for a reputable shop and a fair price as I just do not have time to do it myself. I called Redlands Truck and RV as they came highly reccomended but almost fell out of my chair when their service guy told me $455.00 to do the job. It can be in the IE or in OC since I work in OC and live in Riverside.

Whats an ELC? If you purchased the extended plan and it's still active I would take the truck over to Sunrise Ford and have them perform the work.

ELC is the International coolant that was reccomended for the 6.0 when built. The Ford Gold is what seams to be causing so many cooling system issues because it gels up. ELC is not supposed to gel at all, Ford does not do the swap I'm looking for... I called DieselTech(Loren's on Vaca) and the guy that answered had never heard of what I'm looking for either. Any other suggestions are always appreciated :O)

Well, I took the truck to John @ Domestic this past Thursday and I can't say enough good stuff about him and their service. Took it in last minute and got it don quickly and reasonably priced. Thank's again for getting me in and giving my 6.0 a clean bill of health! :peace:
