    Trans temp gauge, Short or Full sweep?

    Wondering pros and cons to both and whats the majority of you guys running?

    Cool

    I like the full sweep. I think they are easier to read and you get a more accurate reading.
    For example, a short sweep may be marked at 20 something increments. A full sweep may be marked at 5 something increments.

    I also think the full sweep just look better!!!

    Full sweep for almost any gauge is better, sometimes they cost a little more.
    '97 Dodge 3500, Club Cab, 4x4, Dually, 5.9 Cummins 12V, SMOG EXEMPT, 4" turbo back, gauges, EGR Delete. Built Auto with billet twin disk converter, TransGo shift kit, HF clutches, HD Sprag, PML Pan, AFE stage 1, 100 fuel plate, AFC full forward. 3000 GSK.

    Yes, my last truck was an '06 Superduty, liked it, just too much money to own, SMOG, register, build, and maintain.

    Short or full doesn't look bad. If the gauge is constantly moving (EGT, Boost, oil pressure, ect.) I'de go full sweep but stuff like the tranny, ECT, diff temp a short will be fine and they don't really look that bad since they stay in 1 spot most the time.
