    Need some advice on aftermarket upgrades!

    I have a stock 2008 f450 with 430 rear end. I pull a 40 foot 5th wheel toyhauler and am lookikng to improve fuel mileage. The truck has 22k miles and still has the warranty which i dont want to lose. What are some suggestion, I just put the transfer flow 60 gallon stock replacement fuel tank because I am tired of looking every 230 miles for a station to fill up at when towing. It is a crewcab 4x4. Thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions.

    Is a tuner something I should consider? what brand? I am honestly lost and looking for advice on a route to go down.

    My uncle put a gearvender overdrive and banks on his 450 and i think his mileage went up slightly. Best way is going to be delete the dpf and tune it. But if you want to keep the warranty i'd lok into the gear vendors

    Mini-Maxxed, Nothin special.....

    delete the dpf, add a tuner that plays nice with that, add an intake, gain a minimum of 5mpg's. put the dpf back on when going to the dealership and load stock tune. done deal.

    What tuner should I be looking into? Is one better than the other? I see spartan, banks, innovative sct, edge and others?

    I have a banks iq monitor and banks 6 gun tuner for your truck if intrested pm me ill give you a real good price on it

    If i delete my dpf will that banks tuner still work? does it only work with the dpf since its a clean tune on there website? I am considering pulling my dpf and putting it back on when it goes into the dealer.

    cant go wrong with spartan, kem, h&s, or innovative. i run a dashdaq from spartan for monitoring, and innovative tuning. best bet would be to buy a innovative xcal3 for tuning, and an edge cts for gauge montoring. im guessing you'd be in about 7-800 and have a nice setup.

    I have a DPF Delete , CAT Delete , SCT Tuner , AFE Intake and full 4 inch turbo back straight pipe exhaust. My Mileage went from 11 to 18 but I run 37's and 8 inch lift. To be honest with the mileage on your truck I would wait to do anything too crazy. I didn’t have any issues with my truck until about 50,000, then my EGR valve and Radiator had to be replaced. I don’t mind changing my truck back to stock its easy when its lifted but if you're not mechanically inclined it can be a pain. A F450 is pretty tight on the ground and a pain in the butt to change it all back to stock without a lift. Just my two cents. Good Luck
