911 Need Fuel Regulator Cap or Help with Riffraff Fuel Xover

    Need Help!
Took my truck to OC Diesel (not the sponsor) in HB. They stripped the threads on the fuel regulator cap and it is dumping fuel everywhere cause it won't seal. Does anyone have an extra I can buy or can help me install the fuel crossover. It's Super Bowl Sunday and no one is open to get a new one. I'm in Long Beach.
Thanks in advance if you can help.

Are you talking about the lid for the factory fuel filter housing? Are you sure the threads are stripped or did they put the gasket in upside down? If the gasket doesn't seat just right, it will leak like crazy. You can get a new lid at Autozone and it comes with the gasket. Should be able to get them at O'Reilly as well.

It's not the filter cap, it's the little regulator cap that the return line to the tank connects to. They cross threaded the cap the compression fitting fits onto and now it leaks and needs to be replaced. I have a fuel cross over from Riffraff that connects the fuel rails together and has that cap as part of it to allow excess fuel and air back to the tank. It is similar to a regulated return, without the regulator.

That's how this started, taking it back to them to make it right. They have worked on my truck twice and it has cost me an extra $1200 to fix what they screwed up, and now this. They cross threaded the pressure regulator cap and sent me down the road with a leak so bad it took more than a quarter of a tank of fuel to go from Huntington Beach to Long Beach. I barely made because all that fuel caused my clutch to start slipping. Hope it isn't ruined from the saturation. I will post a thread about the whole experience when there is some resolution to the issues they have created.
