    question about value

So I am considering selling my rig...its an 09 with 16,500 miles with some good cash in the lift(about 10 inches) and spartan setup. Ive changed the grill from the lariat to the fx4 in black, the interior from wood to the fx4 carbon look, the headlights to harley with HIDs highs lows and fogs, linex in the bed and down the rockers, powder coated the bumpers, the lift is rize with fox 2.5 coilovers and fox 2.5 res in the back, atlas springs, amp steps, tint, spartan with tcm and up to the 310 tune, afe stage II, 5 inch exhaust to a 6 inch tip from magnaflow. I have all the stock parts including the suspension, wheels and tires(less then 7000 miles), steps, headlights, cat, dpf, exhaust, intake and interior parts.

Any thoughts what it would be worth if sold out right?

dealers were discounting 2010 superdutys at $14,000 under msrp, so they must be down on value now that a new 2011 is out

i think i remember seeing your truck at the AFE meet. Not sure what it would be worth, but my guess would be 45-50ish. but the hard part is finding someone who will pay for the 09 when they can get a new 2011 for 55-60

I agree, I hate to say but with the price of the new trucks not being far off from where you are at on KBB, my guess is that you would might get KBB with all the aftermarket parts.

You might be better off putting the truck back to stock (If you have the original parts) and then sell the aftermarket stuff on the side.

That is a good idea, I did it backwards, I just kept my 2001 civic when I bought the truck because they wouldn't give me much for it. I am glad I did, as much as I drive it probably saved me about $250 per month in fuel costs which pays for insurance on both cars and then some.

as much as you prob hate hearing it you prob could only get around 35k for it with all the mods on it... noone is going to pay in the 40k range when you can get a new truck for that price...

Yeah 35K would be a swift kick to the baby maker, if you are thinking about selling or even buying a daily driver you should consider it quick. ONce diesel gets back up over $4 per gallon nobody is going to want it and you may be out even more. Also, the cost of civics and focuses are going to skyrocket. I got my honday the las time diesel was high. My civic cost me 12K and it should have only been worth 9 or 10. but that is what they were selling for.

Still think you might make the most money buy making stock taking 35K - 40K and then selling off the parts.

See what Carmax will give you for it, they love custom 4x4's, that will also give you a basline on what a dealer will give for trade-in.
