    EGR Cooler

    How long can you drive if the EGR cooler is leaking a little bit into the exhaust, maybe at 1/2 quart a week.

    IMO you're rolling the dice. Could be months, could be minutes.

    If your EGR cooler is shot there's a good chance that your oil cooler is shot too.

    Can you monitor the difference between your oil and coolant temps? There shouldn't be more than a 15 degree difference between them when everything is up to operating temp. If there is, you need an oil cooler too.
