I haven't been on here as much as I would've liked to the last few months, but due to the fact that many of you made my stay in SoCal a great experience, and SOCAPS making me feel at home, I thought I would post this.
I'm leaving SoCal to work for Diesel Power Magazine in the Midwest, as I and the rest of the magazine think covering that area will benefit the magazine quite a bit.
So... Gene, you are always the life of any get-together or gathering, an absolute wealth of knowledge on all things diesel, the friendliest dieselhead I've ever met, and a great person in general.
John Wood. I know you lurk on here, at least from time-to-time...Thanks for teaching me something new every time I walked into your shop, telling it like it is, and hosting those live-tuning events with free dyno runs (which is probably one of the rarest things you'll see shops do in the diesel game).
Mike D. Thanks for pushing the limits of that 6.4L... so soon after purchasing it. What an eye-opener that Power Stroke became (I think International really went out with a bang on Ford trucks). I'll see you back east.
Sanger. You just can't leave anything alone, can you?Just Kidding. Too bad I never got a ride in that (gasp) Dodge of yours. I never thought I would meet someone so into diesels in Orange County, but you proved me wrong, and then some!
Diesel Tech and OC Diesel Shop, thanks for the top-notch work, and for doing solid, trustworthy work at that.
Linmup. Thanks for the, well, everything!
Hope you guys don't mind a foreigner lurking around on here from time-to-time, stillTake care.
