    Brake rotors

I have new rotors to put on, everyone keeps telling me the bolt to the hub but there are no bolt holes on the new rotors. Does that mean you have to remove the wheel studs?

There is actually a nut inside the hub that needs to be removed that requires a special socket. I think its like a 4 incher or something like that. I went to do the rotors on my 96 2 years ago and I didnt have that size so I had to take it to my friends shop to have it done.

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
    1. Jesus Christ
    2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

mine are free floating. they just come off with a rubber mallet after the calipers are outa the way I think. Or if I remember right you can take the whole hub off and drift out the studs on the gaarage floor and repress 'em in the new assembly if your careful not to mung up the threads.

Matty, are you talking about the nut behind the locking hub?

So I tackled this project Saturday and you have to press your studs out to swap rotors. To reset the studs I used a 1 inch nut and hit them with an impact in sequence. Its nice to step on the pedal with vibrations now.
