it would be a week end job FOR SURE ...me and a couple friends swaped out a 97 7.3 n liek 4 days ... from start to finish ... wroking pretty late on it .. but we had no idea what we were doing .. jsut be sure you LABEL EVERY THING .... and bag all the blots and label them and every thing .. and take pics of stuff before you take it apart so you knwo how it was before you took it apart ... thats just hwo i do it .. i guess .. cuz we had never done that before .. but it was a cool experince .

With all the right tools it would probably take a tech 12 hours start to finish. They pulled my 6.0 and trans in under 4 hours.
