    Mildly Stripped Threads

Hi Guys, I was re-torqueing the long bolts that hold the Intake elbow to the Intake manifold and I think I felt two of them give a little when re-torgueing the bolts. I am planning on using Heili Coils to 'repair' this situation. I have not experienced any drop in Boost or Pressure leaks, but I want to prevent any pressure leaks at this area. Occasionally I have to re-tighten two of them, luckily they a kitty corner to each other.

Does anyone know if these bolts are 1/4-20? It looks like it but I can't be sure just by looking at them, does anyone know for sure what the thread spec are for these four intake bolts? (before I spend money on a thread repair kit)..lol.

    Thanks, Hans...

I would think they would be metric maybe a m8-1.25 or m6-1.0 I would check for you but it is pouring outside and that is where my truck sits. I had the stock bolts laying around but I sent them off with my factory intake elbow to someone two days ago. Will check when rain stops if you need it.
