Where do I get a ram assist steering kit?

I'm looking to buy a complete ram assist kit for my '96 F350.

Yet have no idea what's involved & what I should or shouldn't bother getting in my kit...?

How many different kits & options are available?

All opinions & links will be appreciated..

    Like I said!
    I've found a few for around 230 +-.
But the ORU one might include the plumbed steering box?

For $230 it sounds like you're missing some parts. The gear box should cost at least that just by itself.

If you want to slap down your credit card and have it tomorrow, then go to ORU. If you want to piece it together for the cheapest possible, then search some off road sites like pirate4x4 and others, who are utilizing ram assist quite a bit.

For $230 that sounds like some hoses and a ram, and that's it. If you can find somebody or at least get the info on it, you could probably drill and tap the box yourself to save some money. I know this can be done on the Chevy boxes, but I don't know about the Fords.

With ORU you get what you pay for. They are the best around and the parts they make are the best. I have a few friends with that kit and it is amazing to drive their trucks. the steering is just unreal.

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
    1. Jesus Christ
    2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

You guys heard of a guy called Tommy Lee? ( No not the motley crew guy )

This guys in Sun Valley & builds all his own rams etc etc...
He was telling me about $600.00. :)

I ended up just sending my factory pump in for a rebuild today & will hope that gets me through my wheeling trip to AZ & back.

I'll do the Ram as money allows.
