    Right off there site:

We manufacture our toolboxes from tough, thick weather-resistant marine grade aluminum, using 1/10" and 1/8" stock from Integris® Metals. These truck boxes have been tested under the most challenging on and off-road conditions in America. They are all welded - no pop rivets used for the shell construction.

I have both the 5er boxes and you will not find anything better.
Mine still looks like they did when I bought mine in 2002.
These things are tough as hell.

Gene, Thank you. What I'm looking for is the type of Aluminum. I think it's 6061-T6? I welded some aluminum last weekend and felt I did a good job and now I just wanna make something like a headache rack with a removable light bar but I wanna use the same material as Highway which I can't find. I did end up getting a HP box awhile back and do have to say it's the best and last box I'll ever buy and the best part is that they are made in the USA

Wow there's still stuff made in the USA? I get pissed when I buy an amercain product and it's made everywhere else but here. It's nice to hear that good quality stuff is produced here. I'll look into them.

I ended up going with 6061 T6 .190 2 1/2" round corner square tubing. Waited 3 weeks for it because it wasn't in stock and when it came they got the square corner :bigshock: Well then it took them 4 days to get the correct one but I haven't had time to pick it up and won't have time till the 21st. (I'm getting a new toy next week ;))
