    Red face Horn stuck

Had to lay the horn the other day, and I guess little to hard and it stuck on, and will come back on at any time with out even touching it, pulled the fuse, but I want it back, I can live without a cigarette lighter but my horn I need... Anyone know how to pull the cover off with out setting the airbag off?

Just trying to help, but I don't even want to mess with an airbag. Might be the clockspring, if this has one. On the other hand, it might just be the perfect time to get some train horns.....

I've got an '05 and my horn quit working about 3 months after purchase from the dealer. It still works when using the keyless entry (pressing lock button twice or panic button) but doesn't do anything when pressing the steering wheel. I've gotten used to not having it but can recall plenty of times I could have used it--but train horns would have worked better in those instances!!! Any info would also be greatly appreciated!

    Talking

of course if you have a guy at work that is a real butthead, you can always smile when you leave work behind him!!! A few of us took it upon ourselves to wire his horn into the brake switch. now that is some fun stuff. bet he will not park in other people's parking spots!!! It was great watching him pulling up to the stop sign after all the Offshore rig workers' had gotten off. there is a company that makes a compatible train horn small enough to mount on the cross brace under the driver's seat. the compressor can be frame mounted or installed in the bed. A friend has the system on his landsled dodge and another on a '04 F-350 and they are as loud if not louder than the train horns.

    clock spring removel

Yes, Disconnect power supply first off, step on the brake pedal for about 5 to 10 second to drain down reserve power supply, there's 2 bolts that allow the clock spring air bag, horn rely strip to come apart, disconnect the 2 connection, one for airbag the other is for the horn rely, there 2 screws on holding the vinyl cover on the top of the airbag, underneath that is a foiled circuit board, look for the knuckle or fist shaped dent in the foil circuit, smooth out dent and reassemble, fixed no more stuck horn.
all so I priced a new clock spring for around 48.00
