    check engine lights!!!

    ive been having check engine lights go on with my truck which is beginning to annoy the piss out of me!
    i currently have spartan 150 175 & 210 tunes, cat/dpf delete and banks intake...and no, the banks intake is not the reason!
    p2563, p2263, p006b and p0401. those are the codes going off in my truck and reads negative manifold psi when beginning to accelerate from a full stop!
    any help would be GREAT...

    What happens if you convert it back to stock and drive it around a bit? Do the CEL codes come back or stay gone?

    some of the lights come up but are tuff to get to come back up.
    i left my truck in stock form at the dealer for 3 days and they couldnt get the codes to come up! they even reflashed the computer 3 times from what they said.

    this is how it goes from a early morniong start or cold start period...no lights are shown but low psi or zero is shown at idle where normally its about 0.5 tp 0.8.
    drive it around for about 2 to 3 miles and the first complete stop after the turbo light come on and after that performance is lost across the board.
    i would be glad to lend my truck to someone to know where i am getting at if it means some answers, haha!
    in stock form i have gotten the egr cel and the map sensor cel that i previously put on...

    sorry I am in Phoenix...

    anyway... did I read that right, your boost reading goes to negative on first accel??

    yes, it used to read at idle 5 to 8 psi. now it reads anywhere from 0 to about -0.3 psi at idle or at a stop and will drop lower up -0.8 psi.
    its a dog trying to get it rollin even at WOT but thats once the CEL or CEL's come on.
    if i pull over delete them on my dashdaq turn the truck off then turn it back on its like the codes were never there but it still reads low in the psi besides the fact that the throttle and turbo responce is quicker.

    are you reading the pressure from an aftermarket gauge, a scanner, or a stock gauge??

    check that the MAP sensor port is free of debri.

    make sure you have 5.0v at the MAP sensor connector (connector disconnected) on the GN-VT wire key ON engine OFF. that is the power wire for the MAP, the EGR valve control, and exhaust pressure sensor.

    they're probably ignored when first started (everytime warm or cold) because system is in OPEN LOOP. once the vehicle goes to CLOSED LOOP the system sees the bad readings, trips the Check Engine light and goes into Failure Mode. you shut the engine off, clear the codes and the cycle continues.

    i don't have any experience on the 6.4L but i do have experience with diesels and when i turned wrenches my specialties were drivability, emissions, and electrical (gas engines, FI and carbed).

    sorry for taking a long time, i got it fixed quite a bit ago. it was the EBP sensor and i changed the MAP sensor, just incase
