    Weight Question

I wanted to have an idea of the total weight of my rig, camper, trailer and Jeep, so I went to a public scale today. I was surprised when the weight slip for the truck alone was 7,400 lbs. It's a Super Cab, long bed, 4" lift, 35" Toyos, air bags and a full tank of fuel. I figured around 6K.

Has anyone else weighted their truck and received a similar weight?

You caught me, the slip said 7,480.

Ford says it has a curb weight of 5,942.

    Thanks guys.

With a full tank (almost 50 gallons when trully topped off) my 4x4 Excursion weighed in at 8000lbs last week, no cargo or passengers.
I would expect an excursion to weigh a good bit more than a similar pickup.
