    I Need TYMAR pic's

    I got the filter & it's HUGE!!!
Yes I can remove the factory intake setup, but what about the electrical stuff that dont allow me to fit this massive filter?

Makes me wonder if there are smaller sized filters that will fit in the factory space?

& if not can you post pic's as to how you moved the electrical stuff on the firewall side of the factory intake?

This seriouly has me wondering if I should pay the $350+ FOR A COLD AIR BOX ETC....?

Did you get the right filter? Because i didnt have to move anything when i put my tymar kit in.

You must not have got the right filter.

    Google is your friend! lol
You can also buy the kit directly from tymar. Dale i think is his name, super nice guy to deal with.

I'd just get a piece of pipe and the right filter at NAPA. But I already have an intake so I'm good. I got it before I knew I could do a cheaper filter trick. I got it pretty cheap too, It's used so it's not bad. ebay FTW!

I need to know if any others are smaller in diameter.
Because theres NO WAY this huge filter will fit without moving some stuff.

I thought TYMAR was a DIY thing?
Does someone sell the bracket & 4" tube & whatever else I might want?

    & if so how much?
    & can I get a link?

& Im ready to do this.

If I was to call a muffler shop, what size & angle do I tell them I need for my '96?

    I think I remember reading a 45 degree angle?

Well once I remove the factory intake box, it will still leave me without if enough room unless I move the square black box between the airfilter the firewall..

Have any of you had to move this black box?
& if so, how did you re-mount it?

can you post a Pic of what you got for that much?
The filter was the most expensive part, So I was led to believe?

Part of me is considering just getting an after market bolt in that also has the wall to keep the hot air out.

Ok I just got off the phone with Dale at TYMAR & bought the kit & should have it here by Tuesday.

He recomended the Donaldson filter over the other ones..
Dale seems to be a wealth of knowledge & dont mind sharing with you.

Total kit price plus shipping etc was about $130.00, I would saved a few bucks if I went with the basic aluminum tubing.
But I wanted the powdercoating for $8.00 more.

Heck I paid about $60.00 for my WIX filter alone & that did'nt include all the other parts I need to do the install.

Seems well worth it to me... :)
