Is the VSS(vehicle speed sensor) on the tranny the one that controls the speedometer/odometer? I have never looked for one on my superduty and not sure since it's a 4x4. Any thoughts would be great.

i think i read that 99-01 was tranny and 02+ is off the rear differential. Im probably wrong. and im sure someone will chime in.
