John Wood shop day Feb. 6th w/ Free Dyno Pulls!!!

just as the title says, the dyno will operated by those who volunteer to help, in turn will dictate how many trucks get dyno'd. I know Gene and I will be down there helping, as well as Hotstik. this will be on a first come, first serve basis. John will be providing catered lunch from the local " taco guy" seving carne asada and pollo asada taco's. As well, Jody Tipton will be in town doing live tuning at the shop all weekend. For directions, information, and all other tuning inquiries, you can contact john at John Wood Automotive - Home

festivites are to start at 9:00 am on saturday, feb. 6th.

For those interested in making it a family outing, the Carrot Carnival will be going on down the street from John's shop, so you guys can bring the little ones and keep them entertained.

please reply to this thread if you plan on going, as John would like a general idea of how many people will be there for catering purposes.

Ugh what to do? I can finally get a chip on the 02 and get it live tuned but I don't know. I kinda like just putting fuel in it and changing the oil. Maybe I can make it down. Is there a sign up list for the live tuning?

If you're still basically stock, you won't need live tuning. Jody can just put a chip in it with his "stock" tunes. The only time you really need live tuning is after injectors/turbo.

I'll be there. Still need more volunteers for the dyno?

Need Jodi to re-flash my F5 anyway. By the time i shipped it back and forth, it would be way more fun to just come hang out with you guys. :-)

Hopefully the wife will let me play. Crappy thing is that I'll be doing ops out of El Centro from tuesday til the 4th, just to have to drive back out there again, but it's a drive well worth it. John and Jody are real great guys! I wanna get my new van turbo dialed in but don't think I can afford it this time. I was there in '08 and I think it was about $425 or so for the live tuning, but well worth it. Hope to see y'all there!
