Any Interest In A Half Day Wheeling Trip To Rowher Flats?

Rowher Flats is a legal OHV area in Santa Clarita. The main entrance is off of Sierra Highway. Zoom out from the street view to see the satellite view of the area. It reopened near the end of last year. The trails are marked with a difficulty rating and which vehicles are allowed. Here is a YouTube search.

I took my F-350 there last week. It was the first time I took my new (to me) truck offroad. I went with two other diesel trucks. We entered off of Bouquet Canyon Road just East of Bouquet Reservoir. The gate is open and you can see the trail going up the mountain. We followed the Martindale Ridge Road to the top. This trail is marked as a black diamond. As long as it's dry, it should not be a problem for a 4x4. I posted a few pictures in another forum here. We exited at the main entrance on Sierra Highway.

I would like to go back soon and it would be nice to go with a few other PSD trucks.

    Anybody interested?

It is fun to ride a bike there. I used to ride my old XR600 there a long time ago. So you would not want to take your truck there?

Your Baja looks really nice. Do you ever take it there? Do you have a build thread or all of the specs posted anywhere?

I changed the title from "Offroad" to "Wheeling" to make it clearer.

I have not had a dirt bike for a few years and I would like to get another one after I get my F-350 dialed in and find a good deal on a toy hauler.

I usually don't offroad my truck, that's what my bike and Baja are for, I don't want to break my DD. Thanks for the comment on the bug, right now it is under construction again and probably wont be done for a couple months. It's getting a full tubular front end with Kings, king and linkpin, and rack and pinion steering. I have never taken it to the Flats, just to the desert.

Your truck looks nice in your avatar. Do you have a gallery posted anywhere?
I'm doing some audio wiring on my truck today. Maybe next weekend we could get a few trucks together.

For those of you that dont know, Rowher Flats is alot of hilly trails up & down mountains..

Someone may wanna make sure the place it open because it does get closed from time to time due to rain damaging the trails.

Heres some pics & a Video from the last time I went up there.

I've been refraining from commenting simply because I didn't have a fully functioning truck and wasn't sure when I'd have him ready by. As of last night though I can safely say I am definitely down!!!

Spent a couple hours driving him around last night after finishing the installs and got the new parameters dialed in... the little 5.4 woke up a bit

I believe I am finally ready!!! So when's this Rowher flats things going down?
Also, I think I've mentioned it before on here but I live about 20 min away from Azusa and would be down to roll out there any weekend. Just shoot me a PM.
