I ready to swap to DIESEL!

    Hi Y'all!

I was just Web Wheeling & stumbled upon this site.

    & I'm glad I did.
I currently have a '94 Chevy Gas crewcab dually I bought a while back at a very good price.
Its slammed on air bags & bla bla bla....
I would never of done that myself but hey its a super clean truck & I got a great price on it.

Anyways I use it to haul my toys to the desert & such.
Heres some pic's of my toys.
Heres my current tow rig next to my pre-runner.

    & heres my Sammy.

As you can see I like the dirt & The Chevy is just too low to get me as far as I want off the graded roads.
Not to mention that its just too long!

So I started thinking about raising it off the ground with about a 4" lift & then started thinking why not just sell it for what I really want?

So I'm looking for a FORD

Anyways I'm hoping you guys can help me find the best model for my needs.

I dont want to deal with the new Smog laws that will take effect next year on the '98 & newer rigs.

I'm the sorta guy that looks forward to hot rodding my PSD when I get it.

    I would like a '96 4x4 extracab diesel dually.
An auto trans would be nice, but maybe you guys will talk me into a stick.
I have seen many guys with trans issues while towing.
Yet I assume its because they did'nt run trans coolers & such..

Looking forward to learning from you guys. :)

Welcome to SoCAPS! The Bronco looks pretty cool.

Check out this Ford if you're interested in an old body style truck. It's not a dually, but it looks pretty clean.

    Thanks...
To be honest with you I prefer the style of my friends 2000 F350 better, but its out of my price range & considering what Californias smog plans are for the 98+ models, Its OBS for me. :D

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
    1. Jesus Christ
    2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

    Yeah, Thats it.

Actually, I'm a Teamster & drive trucks & pull trailers for a living & like the idea of knowing my rig can pull bigger trailers if need be.
