Thread: New LA area member

Hello folks, I found this as a result of some members talking about John Wood on another site. After doing my research and deciding he was the best choice for me, I went down for the day like many of the members here.

After that experience and talking to John about the group, it seemed a natural that I should join the site and see what was going on around here. I live up around the LAX area most of the time and in NC as well.

I've got an '01 Excursion 7.3l 4x4 LTD. It's got a lot of crap added on it to meet my hillbilly needs for property in Julian, CA as well as NC. Now with the towmaster and the DP tuner, it really has made me a happy man all over again.

I look forward to getting on here when I can.

Thanks folks I appreciate the welcome. I'll look to see the info for the OC Diesel get together. I may not be back from NC yet. I just drove out here to haul some stuff back for my brother and to bring my '77 F-250 back to Hickory.

I'll be posting a thread before long on my adventures on the drive this time. I have a knack for breaking stuff and this drive was no exception. I'll have to find the right forum for an adventures while towing post.
