I have started racing my truck at Barona. I used to have 35" pro comp mud terrain's on it but they were bald. I bought new tires and didnt want to use them up on the track. So I purchased a set of used 31's and put them on my old rims. The question I have is, will those tires be to small for the stock gear ratio.
2001 7.3L, GTP38R, ITP RR, Airdog 100, TS Performance 6 pos chip, S&B cold air, 5" Aussie stacks.
Assuming you have 3.73 gears, I don't think that's too small, especially on a 1/8 mile track.

The shorter the tire the better you run on an 1/8 mile track
A 29" tall tire works about the best with a 3:73 gear ratio :yay:
