    Dyno day at Turbonetics

    We went Turbonetics today to do some dyno runs and see how we were progressing with the new turbo. While setting up the truck to run on the dyno something let loose inside and we had to stop. We have a large amount of oil and coolant all over the bed and dripping large amounts out of the exhaust pipe. I will be taking the truck apart soon to see what happened and I will let you know what I find.

    As this is a big set back for us I look at as being just a stepping stone to being the best we can and run the BLUE OVAL proudly on our trucks. I have had a lot of people ask me why we don't just put a cummins in it and I just tell them it's a FORD and it's what I drive.

    By the way I drove the truck there and had to wait for my nephew to bring his truck and trailer to take me home one more time. Thanks Again Little John for the ride

    Oh well, as you say it's a good chance to see what happened and make it stronger in the future!!

    I hope it's nothing major...but, it doesn't sound too good!

    well at least it didnt blow up! was crappy to see though. gene will get her fixed. thanks to TN for helping me find my bad injector. as well i did 440 on my stock tune with only 7 cylinders. so she might have some power in her after all!

    I got the heads off the motor and we have 5 cylinders leaking coolant , 1 injector with bad o-rings. Both exhaust manifolds and the exhaust side of the turbo was full of coolant.

    Put the TC in last night and went and got the heads tonight all I need now are the gaskets and we are ready to go back together. We might make it for Sundays event.

    There's a small issue putting the motor back together. Hypermax is out of stock on their head gaskets. I talked to them today and they are actually testing a new version. There's no ETA on the new ones or the old ones. Anybody got a spare set laying around?
