Thread: Back from Houston

We had a great time , even though we got rained out Sunday.

Thanks to John Wood for hauling Stroked Lightning to Texas and back with that new Renegade motorhome.

Thanks to Ron Sanger for helping with the driving duties both ways.

Thanks to Doyle at SJB Transport for the use of his enclosed trailer.

Once again we got the truck back together just in time to haul it all the way to Texas without a test run. If I remember right

1st run 13.10 @ 110 mph #2 only
2nd run 12.79 @ 112 mph #2 only
3rd run BAD , launched sideways in first and second hit the rev limiter and lifted
4th run 11.69 @ 116 mph #2 and small shot of NOS on a detuned program.

That was it for Saturdays runs

John Wood cooked dinner saturday for a few of our friends , I think about 50 of them. John cooks a mean chicken taco you guys need to try them.

It's great to be back home.

Sounds like you all had a good time and came home safely.

Well wecome home, I talked to John this morning and he said you guys had a blast. Its to bad to hear you did not get the cage in it and really see what the truck could do. It would be nice if you and David could have raced that race so you would have regained your title. There is always next time. Now David has some work to get the motor back ready to race. Congrats to everyone involved.

We will be making a few trips to LACR to get it tuned up
