Hey all!
I am wanting to install some aftermarket instruments to my 6.0. The problems are (1) the only one I really know of is an EGT. Any other recommendations on what to add? Also (problem #2) the aftermarket instrument mounting consoles I have seen are all located on the left windshield frame area. My Lariat has a handle right there that I would like to keep. I am definately open to suggestions and really don't know where to begin looking.

try there.

There's another one that goes under the cubby hole to the right of the driver.
I have that one, but I can't remember who makes it.

Check out THIS (http://www.socaps.com/photopost/showphoto.php/photo/671/password//sort/1/cat/6004/page/1) picture of MaxRSmart's under dash pod. By the way, the guages most people install are the EGT, Turbo Boost, and Tranny Temp.

Just a thought, I was debating whether to put the guages on my A-pillar or go for the under-cubby, and I decided to go with the A-pillar arrangement because of the ease of being able to do a quick glance at the egt (most important) while frequently standing on the throttle. I tried looking down to where the under-cubby pod would be and it was not easy to locate it on a quick glance. I felt that the loss of the handle would be a livable sacrifice, that is until the wife tries to get in on that side (LOL)! Turns out that I like the guages over there and they are really easy to see http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/burnout.gif http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/grin.gif.

Just my $.02
