377 or 277 HP at the wheels? Most of the 7.3's with chips dynoed at the dyno day came in around 275. 377 HP sounds a little high for Dieselchicks truck. I might believe that number with your truck with the propane and injectors, etc.

My stock 6.0L truck dynoed at 285 HP at the Sunrise Ford Dyno Day. http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/cool.gif

377 at the wheels it will be about 471 at the flywheel.I figuered the power will loose at least 25% before it reaches the ground considering the Transmission, Transfer case, drive shaft, rear end, and those big tires.or maybe even more. It's very impresive for a diesel. What was your torque?

Nancy's wheels are small, her torque was 667. Not sure why it was so low? http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/confused.gif

I did not know that she was running propane. Wow, that is some very impressive power. What are her 1/4 mile track times?

667 seems low considering the Horspwer that it has, not that low though. It's almost double the hp.What kind of Mods does she have again? I'm sure is posted some where but I'm kind of lazy to look http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/smile.gifSome times you loose some torque in order to get Hp, depends on how the engine is tuned

Well her mods ain't nothin secret! She's got a diablo x chip, 5-15k potentiometer, propane! http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/crazy.gif, ram air, air raid, 4" down to the stacks http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/cool.gif boost tube and that's about it. I think all in all we've got about $1000 bucks in Nancy's mods and that's includin stacks. Made some deals on the other stuff which really helped the pocket book! http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/usa.gif Wish I could say the same for mine! http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/frown.gif

Actually the downpipe and stacks came after the dyno run so she might of picked up 2 or 3 more horsies! http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/cool.gif http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/burnout.gif

I wish I had dynoed mine to compare, I've done Ram air, 4 bank chip, 4" down pipe and exhaust, ATS Turbo housing, or though I had done the boost tube I desided to take out the little ball because at the time I didn't have my Map pressure relief valve installed and my ses light kept coming on for over boost. As it looks the propane is helping a lot, but I think I will dyno my truck first and then deside what else I will do.

oh yeah I forgot My tires are on the bigger side then hers I have 315x70x16's and still have the 3.73 gears. I will try to go with the 4.10s to compensate for the bigger tires.

Yes , I like them but I think next time I want something fatter then those. The ones I have now rub every time I make a full turn but the fault is with the wheels not the tires. So when I'm due for new meats I will change the wheels too, unless something better comes alone, and then I will just change the wheels and mount my tires on them.

I really need to get mine on the rollers, my hotrod will flat out whip dieselchics truck in our "behind the house drags" we have every now and then! That's even with my Big tires and only 4.10's! http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/burnout.gif

It sounds like you have a very strong running truck
I was considering the propane myself, I just have heard so many mix things about it, so now I dont know if I should or not.

Yeah I know, I just dont want to have to take too many things off every time I take my truck in for warranty work.
I only have 20,000 miles and as you know I developed that oil burning thing and now my truck is in for service, The dealer hasn't call me back yet. I guess I will call tomorow to see what they are doing with it.

http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/mad.gifYeah, you know what you can do with them there ole 4:10's? That is correct. Maybe, I will do it for you! Ya, turd! Anywho, the only reason you whip up on me is cause you got the injectors. Cause if my memory serves me correctly, didnt I whip up on you with just a ten dollar mod??? And didn't it totally piss you off? Yes it did! So, there! http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/tongue.gif

Yep, I sure hope to do the same. Pretty much will depend on if I pull in the xtreme class. Street class shouldn't be a problem. Just don't think I've got a chance against those 500+HP dodges! http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/frown.gif

How is the new clutch holding? I have the standard Luk and it hasn't slipped yet, but the power is going up. The first pull I did was 205', Only problem is that after 75 feet, I was at the redline, second gear, low 4. Have you ever gone for the 2 to 3 shift during a pull, I know I have the power but don't think I have the clutch for it.

Nope I've never shifted, I'm pretty sure that's a bad idea! The new clutch is great! http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/cool.gif Can't wait to try it out on the sled. As far as pullin I just stick it in 2nd low range and as soon as the sleds rollin and the clutch is all the way out I mash on the throttle till she won't go no more! http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/burnout.gif
