The lift is coming! The lift is coming! So now that that is finalized, what shocks? This is a 2WD using the Fabtech 6" kit. I'm going to run 315's or 35's. I know the Fabtech ones are junk. I think that I read hear that the MX6's are ok. I have had the Rancho 9000's and liked them. Also here is the other loop. The guy I spoke to over @ Fabtech said to do duals in the front. What do you think? Thanks for the help.

I was in the same place you are a couple of months ago and it seemed like everyone I talked to said the same thing "get gas shocks, they will ride better".

Most of the people I spoke with were split on what brand to buy but Bilstien and Fox always seemed to be in the mix.

I have Kings on my truck and love them! One thing I liked, and the reason I chose to go with them, is they build them by hand for each application they are going to be used for, so different valving = different ride qualities. Several people I knew had them built for there sand toys and they all had good things to say about the product and the customer service they had received from the employees at King.

When I picked my truck up from Bobby he wanted to take it for a ride down the street in front of Sunrise through the pot holes and all he kept saying was "man this thing rides good, I am gonna do something like this on my next truck". The only downside to the Kings is the cost.

As far as doubles in front, a lot of it is the "BLING BLING" factor, or how much do you want to spend?

I hope this helps,
Chris

Budget: Get dual Bilstein 5150's in front (175/60 valved)
Mid: Get dual Bilstein 7100's up front (170/60 valved)
High: Get a single King 3" (duals are overkill)

I've run most everything and these are the combo's that work best for me. (ride and handling)

I had a set of edelbrock resevoir shocks. The truck rides like a caddy compaired to the stock fx4 shocks.
