What are some of those people thinking? I love the stuck superduty with the gauges... he must of been there for a while, he was in the background of every photo. Does everybody eventualy make it out or do they have to bring in the dozer at the end of the day?

Everyone got out. Straps and additional trucks usually does the trick.

The river was rising. So, if you got stuck, you wanted to get out quickly.

Also, there were a few "holes" in there, if you didn't pick the right line. :) The river was unusually deep that day.

FLMAF: I love that place, especially when the river starts to flow.

I am always amazed when guys over to 4 Wheel Supply, have them slap on a lift ki and think there truck is a rock climbing, gator bogger. Especially the guys with one tons, I guess they think there truck has built in flotation devises. I wonder if they realize there truck weighs in at over 8,000lbs.

When did you take the pics. Looks like spring thaw a couple years back. Hands down one of the best entertainment for the buck locations you can go on a good weekend. Bring the family, bring a cooler, bring lunch, and sit under the easyup. But come early for the front row seating.

Thanks for posting them.

Members in the past have meet at Azusa Canyon. It's an "unofficial" meeting like some of the local dinners members have planned.

I'd be willing to help someone set this up, I just don't want to be the main setter upper as the official four meeting a year are about all I want to handle. And, I'd like to see more members get actively involved in club events.

The last time I was at Azusa Canyon, four wheel drive was required by the forest rangers to get down into the canyon. I was with someone who had four wheel drive that time...my truck is two wheel. For those of us who lack the two extra wheels, truck pooling/ride share may be necessary.

If someone would like to take the handle on this, you can post here or PM me for some suggestions/ideas and we can get it going!!!
