Ok so the pump and injectors have 170K on them - might be time for an overhaul. I finally got a hold of Ken at DPS, wow what a character!!! Anyone have a '92.5 or later injection pump lying around that they want to sell? Ken can do great things, however he has no "big" pump cores to re-build. I can send him mine, however I'd be left to hitch hike to work. So if I can find a used pump for a descent price well I'll send him that one and away we go. We'll be going somewhere between mind and wild. From what Ken said 1st half of the throtle will be mild, second half - wild!!!

I wished I could send you mine, but it is actually Ken's, I have been slacking on getting it back to him. Trust me about his IP and Injectors, they will peg a 15psi boost guage like it is nobodys business. I wouldn't reccomend another IP for an IDI other than Kens. Heck, he even has me thinking about one of his 300HP IDI rebuilds, twins and some other goodies. Could you imagine one of those up on the rollers at another SOCAPS event. May get a few looks for such an old rig. Scotty

That's what I'm talking about. Most anyone can make a stroke build HP's. Our older engines can do it, just need alot more love and $$$$ thrown at them. But like Ken said, may cost more to get them to go fast but cheaper to fix.

You ain't kidding, the trucks are pretty cheap, for the most part. Scotty
