Got the Edge Evolution!!What a great month! Unlike DRAKON I went thru all settings within an hours time, there was no way I could wait! Anyways, the extreme setting is killer for what Im used to anyway. Boost shoots up to around 22+ maybe more, it is pretty hard lookin at the gauge while breaking the tires loose! Every setting(3) makes a very noticeable change in power. Even when in the towing mode there is a noticeable change in power. Used the tow mode going to the river last weekend, pulled that long grade returning from laughlin doin 85 mph pulling 4000 lbs. didnt have the go pedal pegged or anything. EGT's reached up to 900 on that grade, trans temp reached approx. 195*. Not bad I say. I did learn how to play with different things such as trans temp will climb when the motor revs w/o OD while the EGT's drop. And vice versa, leave it in OD trans temp drops but EGT's climb but never went over 900* that day in tow mode. Got the EVO from J&D performance, lowest price I got and got it practically overnight! Maybe they can sponsor my truck!!Hint...Hint

oops almost forgot, now I have added turbo surge to my world!!Now I know why the mods never end!

Congrats on the newfound power.

One question, what is turbo surge?

Don't superduty 7.3's have a .84 A/R exh. housing on the turbo or something? Something about the wheel too? I don't know... Yes, you have been bit by count modula.

The way I see it is, more hp is going to make it shift harder. I dont think its harsh unless your trying to serve drinks under full throttle. http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/tongue.gif

Now after you drive it for a couple of weeks in the Extreme mode, put it back to stock. It will make you wonder how you ever drove the truck stock. http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/grin.gif

Did you lower your truck yet?? http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/wink.gif

Extreme is outta control, Im sure you have experienced those ever so small whoops in the road that make you surge the pedal, well those just about have me doing wheelies, really gotta watch them!... Since the PJs are starting to show wear, I might just leave them on till they are history?! http://www.socaps.comimages/graemlins/tongue.gif Guess Ill be getting that housing and wheel sooner than I thought.

I am going to get my dynoed too. I had it dynoed with my old Edge chip at 235 rwhp on 3500 pound rollers. Which as we know are way too light. But just to see how much i gained i'm going to be going back to the same place.
