Well it's kind of hard to believe it would not make that list or be very close to it if not with all that has been accomplished now with the truck. You have helped a lot with testing and there are a lot of people that should be very grateful to you Bigrpowr.

the 12.30 @ 110 means that the truck ran a 1/4 mile in 12.3 seconds and was going 110 mph at the finish line.

Bigrpowr,

Just read the article and you have an awesome truck. I am now considering selling my 06 for a 6.4. Was going to see how the 6.7 will be, but you have proved what can be done to the 6.4 with fairly easy mods. A few questions:

Have you completely voided your powertrain warranty or is it possible/practical to put the DPF back on without too much scrutiny from the dealer?
Were the ARP head studs a requirement or a preventative measure?
What is your personal opinion on the upcoming 6.7 and the technology that went into that engine compared to the 6.4?

If you ever have some time to kill, I would love to go for a ride in your Beast and find out more about what you have done.

1. i have not voided the warranty. it probaly isnt the "safest" thing to do warranty wise, but it would take me about 2 hours to return the truck to stock. if they really dig, i believe they can find a trace of the tuner, but you have to give them a reason to dig, like blow the motor up.

2. the studs from elite (which dp mag called arp, but were actually a-1 H-11) were not necessary, but were installed because i planned on spraying nitrous.

3. i think the 6.7 will be great. but i do believe it will be a year at least after they are released before we know what they are capable of. i plan on buying one to be one of the first, but as of now the 6.4 cant be beat, as the tuning technology has already been dialed in. just think, guaranteed 570 rwhp for under 2k .... kinda hard to pass up.

This has me seriously thinking... I would really love to see you truck in person. PM me if you are ever around the 118 and Porter Ranch Road and have 30 minutes you can spare.
