    2011 HP & Torque Ratings

What could be the reason Ford will not release the power ratings for both new engines for 2011. I would like to know about both the 6.2 gas and the 6.7 diesel. They have made a big deal about every aspect of the new Super Duties, but then hide those figures and wont put them on paper. What's up ?

This is not uncommon. Over the years I have seen them wait until the very last minute to release HP/Torq info along with final tow ratings. I figured they just don't want to be upped by the competition ??

Wow----We started this HP & Torque conversation last October. Here we are in February 2010 and still no official numbers from Ford. The Manhattan Project was not this top secret.

Exactly. Ford was attempting to hold out until after GM announced the '11 Duramax's figures, which is rumored to make less hp, but more torque than Ford.

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
    1. Jesus Christ
    2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
