2011 Ford Super Duty Images from Texas State Fair

Here is the link to the images of the 2011 Ford Super Duty:

I am kinda disappointed with the dually fender design and the loss of the 19.5 wheels/tires on the F450 "Pickups".

Everything else seems pretty cool though.

i think the front grille will grow on me, but the dually fenders are just wrong. Reminds me of the old style dodge fender.

I think a nice sized tire would improve the looks of those dually fenders a lot......say a set of super singles?

Thats funny you said that Bobby, I was thinking the same thing about the fenders. They look like the ones on the dodges about 15-20 years ago. That said, that grill is gonna take some getting used to. Otherwise it not too bad. Sure looks low to the ground in the front.

I like some of the new things. I really like what they did with the interior! Rear air i like that console that goes all the way forward and the seats look like the ones in the 150 which i think are much more comfortable. But im not too impressed with the outside. I like the rounder styling but not the grille and no fender vents.

Definitely a mixed bag.....I like the motor, but did you see where the fuel injection pump was mounted? Talk about a pain to swap out for a modded one. The duallys just flat out suck. What were they thinking? My biggest gripe is all the rounded stuff. One thing I always like about Ford is the hard body lines, not a lot of bulging rolling weird stuff. Anyone notice the back seat headrests? They look like something from the Jetsons.

On the other hand, the Ford installed gooseneck and fifthwheel is pretty sweet.

I don't like the aesthetics of the dually fenders or the chrome front grille (if it's color-matched it would probably look a lot better IMO) but the rest of the truck is pretty spiffy. I might just pop over to the .org later today and see if anyone has posted yet "Do you know if it'll be possible to swap the 2011 interior into my '99/'00/'01/etc..."--that should be coming soon...

The dually front flares and rear fenders are definitely an after thought. It's as if the designers forgot about designing the fenders and rushed to get them done before the deadline. Definitely old style Dodge look to them. The grille isn't that bad. I like the DeWalt tool link in the bed.

ok here is my $.02.... WTH is Ford thinking???? I have to agree the fenders are a dodge throw back, Chevy hurting for money so ford bought their headlights!!! The head rest in the rear seats looks more like a backboard to scoop you up with when they tell the drive of the lot price. I do have to say i like the look of the emblems countersunk in the body panel. Interested in seeing when we will get ours at work. we have a few trucks coming up on mileage and good lord knows we are ready to get rid of the v-10 dually turds we have. We tow 10,000 lbs boats all day long and 10-11 mpg is sad. GSA is the greatest ripe off in the government!!!
