    Great News on 6.0 problems

I have made many postings lately about the engine has no power, it stalls, runs good one day then bad the next, turbo (I thought)

Anyway, I put a new EGR Valve in last night and the truck runs perfect.
All the problems are gone. Have a Fabulous Day

I thought the same thing! I figured from the title of the thread that Ford had made an announcement to extend warranties on all 6.0 vehicles to 200,000 miles or some crazy thing like that, irregardless of whether you were out of warranty already or not.

vptinker glad you got your issue taken care of.

Well, I jinxed myself on this one.
My truck broke down today on the 5 freeway about 30 miles north of San Diego. Had to call the tow truck. She had a loud pop noise like the sound of a flat tire, but no flat tire, just the thump thump....so I got it to the shoulder, cutting across three lanes, and saw black smoke as I was shutting it down. Got a truck with a goose neck coming in the morning from home, to bring me another truck and haul mine home. UGH...Going to take it in first thing Monday along with my warranty folder.....

Sounds like you popped an intercooler boot. Not a big deal to fix.
