I personally would not use a flush I have seen to much engine damage from those products

I wouldnt do it.. if you change the oil reg you shouldnt have a prob with sludge etc.. i think them flush's are some type of solvent .. well that woudl cut / thin the oil an then you have engine parts wearing (cause of thinned oil) plus if you did break some sludge free it woudl prob end up in the pan.. then sucked up into the oil pump an then into the filter an clog up the filter an then lack of oil to bearings etc...
again wouldnt waste my money on it..

I have no idea how the guy before was about oil changes...
so I wonder if I should do it maybe one time just to clean it out & then not do it again?
I just wonder about what might be slugged up & can use this help?
I've used Seafoam with good results in a gas engine before. My buddy has had good results with it in 2 gas engines as well. I've never had a need or desire to use it in my diesel as it's squeaky clean!

If you want to flush it out, just go get some cheap Walmart 15-40 and change the oil. Run it for a day and then change it with your regular oil. I have added 1 qt of ATF before to help a stuck IPR and it did the trick. The ATF was in there for about 10 miles and then I changed the oil...

In case we find ourselves starting to believe all the anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember England 's Prime Minister Tony Blair's words during a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why he believes so much in America , he said:
"A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many want in... And how many want out." Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
Something else to think about is; whatever you pour in there, you're still going to have some of it left in the HPOP oil after you drain the crankcase.
I wouldn't do it.

I may not fully understand the flushes that are being discussed. But I hear that RevX is a really good additive that will clean out the sludge. I believe it has even been mentioned for use in a few TSB's from Ford. I read that if you put it in about 1000 miles before you need to change your oil it will break up the sludge and then you change the oil before it has time to redeposit elsewhere. Anyone have any feedback on this because I was considering doing this just before my next oil change.
