i just come across an 88 f250 w/the 7.3. iknow now that maybe i shoulda let pass on the deal(the truck wont start).but it is cherry,w/162,000 miles on her.has n-e one heard of a shear pin on the cam at the timing chain?she seems to be atleast 180degrees outta time.a fella told me about a pin that sheers on the gear,&that it is close to impossible to break the chain,n-e ideas?
i think i got it ,i pulled the injector pump today now im trying to line up my timing marks,is there anyway to do this from the top w/out pulling the front of the motor?
